Mission

WAYAACP AG is an urban block farming project serving vulnerable youth in Monrovia, Liberia by promoting food security, economic opportunity and youth empowerment.  The project converts fallow 5-20 HA parcels within an eight mile radius of the Rally Time Market on Tubman Boulevard and the Covered Market on United Nations Drive into intensive youth-staffed lowland rice and garden vegetable farms.  Through block labor arrangements, technical support, input assistance, group storage and group marketing, the project aims to bolster domestic rice production while increasing partner income and fostering partner self-efficacy.  Supported by an international board with research and development experience in West Africa and led by a talented team of Sierra Leonean and Liberian citizens with significant leadership and NGO credentials, WAYAACP AG is focused on driving measurable, sustainable and scaleable impact in Monrovia and eventually throughout the Mano River Basin.  WAYAACP AG is currently seeking 75,000 USD from investors for a 3 year 100 HA model validation pilot program in Monrovia, Liberia.
